The whole complex was dirty and trash everywhere. Beds were very old and extremely uncomfortable. Pool funiture was outdated. The beach access area was complete full of trash and glass! Although we were visiting off season everyone was helpful and nice. Pool was nice because there is a heated and a non-heated pool. My only problem with the place was how dirty the beach was to get to the water. Broken glass was everywhere. Plus other reminders that spring break wasn't' long ago. It was a must to wear shoes...

Words of advice: Even though you are in Texas, Southern Hospitably is not everywhere. Poor Customer Service! I have a horror story that I don’t even want to relive. Let’s just say… make sure you keep your valuables locked up and in a safe place because the staff will not turn in belongings that they “find.”

We love to stay at this resort. The staff is welcoming and extremely accommodating. Management is quick to help if needed and you may never leave the grounds. Awesome restraunt, bar and pool (with pool bar) that is great for adults and children. The beach is a step away and the view is spectacular! A+++++.

The staff was friendly and helpful throuought my stay, especially the restaurant manager. The food was superb and reasonably priced. The live entertainment was outstanding. Met many wonderful people here. A magical place.
Hotel is nice, property clean, we didn't stay here, but wanted to have a nice breakfast in Windjammers...Very disappointed....Service - poor. Asked for capacino, server said, no, we only serve that downstairs..slow, we were seated and had coffee for 10 minutes before we had menus Server was impatient, and harried...all answers and coversations were designed to keep conversations monosylabic...my wife...
