we stayed on the 1st floor, facing away from I-35. We had low expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, with working A/C, and we had a good night's sleep. Pros: - location - cost Cons: - small parking lot - weak shower

This hotel is family managed, well kept and well run. Very hospitable people. Will stay again when we can.

Answered all questions to my satisfaction.Called me back to confirm after problem with computer.Upon arrival, greeted by name.VERY good rate for what we found. Would have cost $20-50 more elsewhere. We started staying at the Red Roof Inn in San Marcos over 4 years ago. They are very handicap accessible, they strive to make sure guests have an enjoyable experience. We try to go at least every two months sometimes more often. They have also recently update carpet and paint and it really looks great. The mattresses are very comfortable.
