My wife, 2 dogs and I arrived the for a weekend of relaxation and were not disappointed. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. The fishing pier was fantastic. Several cameras were strategically positioned on the property including the parking lot which was comforting. I've visited several hotels in Port Aransas... More

I used to frequent Port Aransas for its awesome fishing, oh for approx. 30 yrs., until just one day out of the blue my family and I decided to try a new place, and we decided on Rockport. We searched on the internet and discovered a place named Hunt's Castle, so we decided to spend the week there. The room... More

For our 2011 Christmas vacation we stayed at Hunt's (waterfront suite); we had an imaging time; very relaxing atmosphere; caught reds/drums off their long, private lighted pier; enjoyed spectacular sunrise/set; owner/staff were kind/thoughtful/professional; suite was very comfortable/clean/spacious/full kitchen, living area; pet friendly!; served coffee/donuts for early rise; wi-fi, enjoyed the short walk to downtown shops; close to Port A and... The manager and all the employees are very nice. If you are looking for a comfortable suite on the water with wi-fi, cable TV, full kitchen, a... More

Owner was very rude. Bunkbeds in the rod along with king size bed. Needed new mattress. Floor and everything was dirty. it reminded me of a room at camp. Towels were hard to come by and they felt like you were drying iffy with sandpaper. I would not recommend having a view due to the pool being right there and... More

I have been staying at Hunts Castle for about 10 years. I usually stay there at least 3 times a year with my hunting buddies. They accommodate us very well. We have ran many blast and cast fellowshiping events with as many as 50 hunters. They welcome us as well as our dogs. The kids love the lighted fishing pier.... More
