Another wonderful year on the river! The owners here make sure we want to return year after year, with the family-friendly courtyard, manicured lawns, comfortable and well stocked cabins AND the Comal River at our doorstep. We highly recommend this for families of all ages!

Love this place. Bought the Tshirt. Very friendly people around BBQing and playing horseshoes. Beds weren't great but you just sleep. I plan on going back. Had a blast. Very peaceful. Everything is stocked just bring your own food and all your goods.

We have stayed at The Other Place many times. This year we were there in August. As always, the location cannot be beat. We love the horseshoe that goes around the resort. You can jump in the Comal on one side of The Other Place and get out on othe other side. It's a nice 30 minute (or so) trip.... More

It is rustic/simple/basic, but it was great for us. Almost everyone we saw were families, most 3 generations.
