If you are going to stay in Gruene (which you should if you are going to go dancing and, of course, drinking at Gruene Hall, then I recommend the Gruene Mansion Inn Bed & Breakfast. Not cheap, but SUPER romantic!

Had a fun Girls weekend! We stayed in the Bluebonnet Lodge and the Grand River Lodge. The rooms have rustic charm and beauty. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. Nice porch with rocking chairs to sit and drink wine and enjoy the scenery. The morning breakfast was filling a good. Location is very close to Gruene Hall.

The Gruene Mansion Inn is quickly losing its secrecy as a place to leave behind the 21st century and return to a pace and volume and peace of yesteryear. This bed and breakfast has really cute rooms with wonderful antiques. Always clean and neat. Some rooms have great view of the river. Breakfast buffet is always great. Staff is welcoming and kind. Walking distance to attractions and shops in Gruene. Highly recommend it!
