Well, the maintenance/service team seems to be very keen on cleaning. But to keep something really clean means something else. So the first impression is that you get a clean room, but that's not true. The fridge was dirty, the cupboard were dusty and the towels had an interesting smell. My partner and I stayed at the Basement Complex in July 2007 and found it spotlessly clean and this was before the refurbishment. The staff are incredibly friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
