we have just returned from salou were we were supposed to be staying at the Cala Dorada apartments 4-6 vendrells in salou .
We have a feeling something was not right when we went to board a transfer coach from reus airport and the driver said he had never heard of it . He said that he knew were the street vendrells was located and would drop us there so with no other alternative we went .He dropped us on a road with a steep incline with maybe 3 shops and a couple of pubs but no Cala Dorada apartment.We walked up and down this hill asking shopkeepers if they had ever heard of it but to no avail.Eventually at near enough the top of the hill I found a resedential complex called the Cala Dorada which was a private complex and had no reception and no one to contact. We waited at the door until a resident was coming out and tried to communicate but she didnt understand what was going on.
