We wanted a conveniently located hotel in the Alpes and we found HAC. A 15 mins drive from the SNCF -train station, accessible by bus or taxi. Next to amenities and most importantly, close to the shuttle bus that takes you for free to the ski slopes. Animal friendly hotel, the owner is a cute German shepherd called Bob! (the owners’ dog). Some rooms have a superb view to the Alpes and with good heating system. We paid 90 euros per day early March 2009 excluding breakfast for a room with a balcony. It was our second time in Saint Gervais and we stayed at the same hotel. The hotel’s restaurant offers a good selection of dishes and its really value for money. more
