Le Domaine de La Millasserie is a rare find. I cannot say enough about the beautifully decorated, spacious rooms looking out on a forest. The delicious breakfast served in front of the fire each morning........ . And, most of all, our charming, informative hosts, Byrne and Alain who mapped out places for us to go each day. If you want... more

My spouse and I just returned from France and had an AMAZING time at La Millasserie in the Dordogne!!! We have traveled extensively in Europe over the past 10 years and the La Millasserie has become one of our favorite places. We would absolutely, without reservation, recommend this B and B and hope to return. La Millasserie is situated on... more

We've travelled all over the world and have been privilaged to stay in some amazing hotels, but Le Domaine de la Millasserie is just the most perfect place anyone could wish to stay. Our hosts, Byrne and Alain, were just perfect. Wonderful breakfasts on the front terrace with a chat about the day's plans and agreement on the restaurant for... more

I was part of the 50th Birthday group mentioned in the previous review and wanted to add my 2 cents. There were so many places to choose from when we started to plan this celebration. I am so glad we chose La Millasserie. Owner/hosts Byrne and Alain were so helpful with the many emails before the trip and the arrangements... more

We stayed at this beautiful B&B as part of the 50th Birthday surprise trip for one of our friends. The quaint, clean and beautiful surroundings of the property is outstanding. The rooms are large, with a sitting sofa and a patio at the back. The bathroom also is clean and large. Breakfast is great...by the poolside. Pool is very clean.... more

Very nice, comfortable and well decorated rooms in a nice and calm surrounding. Great breakfast. However, the hosts were not particularly welcoming and warm as you could expect from a chambre d'hote. more

So far our holidays were based on "Relais du Silence" hotels or a rented villa in the south of France. As this was our first holiday based on Chambres d'Hôtes/B&B, needless to say we had some reservations towards its success. A success it was! La Millasserie is just wonderful. Very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms, all brand new, while every... more

Byrne and Alain are charming hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the area. The rooms are immaculate, the breakfast filling and delicious including warm pastries, tartine, fruit, yoghurt, juice, tea or coffee and the setting lovely. The main house is 300 years old and sits on 10 acres of forested land. The rooms are newly constructed in the style... more

We feel very lucky to have discovered La Millasserie and wanted to share our experiences with other travellers who might be contemplating a visit to this beautiful corner of France. Firstly the location is superb, not only the Perigord region but also the actual situation of the Guesthouse itself, nestled in quiet countryside and woodland. The variety of both natural... more
