We stayed for a week on a birdwatching tour than took over the hotel. Juan Pedro and Belen were keen to help throughout the week, our room, number 1, was huge with great views of birds feeding in the fields nearby and a lovely dawn chorus of Serins and sparrows. We had little choice over food, but the quality of the food was outstanding with lovely tasters between courses and wine served with main meals. Breakfasts were filling and tasty and Belen made sandwich packs for daytime walks. Although we went out to a local restaurant one night it was very disappointing after Belen's wonderful cooking. It was too cold to try the swimming pool. Overall a superb family run small hotel with a pretty garden near to some fantastic wildlife habitats. more
