We really liked the Villa del Lago - had a 3rd floor room with a private balcony looking straight out over the lake. Clean, very comfortable, good air con & a lake breeze in the afternoon - and best of all it overlooked a completed section of the lakefront walkway, not the much larger part which is still under construction... more

We stayed at this hotel from Nov 4 to 6 in Room 301. The hotel isn´t in a bad location with restaurants and other places of business nearby. The AC worked okay and so did the TV which picked up quite a few channels. There wasfree bottled water every day in the room and the internet service in the lobby... more

We requested the best room available, and got a spacious room with a view to the lake from the nice porch. The room was air conditioned and was clean and comfortable. There was a problem with the drainage of the water in the shower. They have free internet and a nice collection of books you can exchange. more

Flores is just a place to stay because you go visiting Tikal. Take a hotel near the entrance of Tikal. And if you need to stay an extra night, stay in Flores. Fairly new hotel with nice facilities. Much more modern/ updated than I had come to expect in Guatemala. Great pool, you can enjoy your breakfast outside or in the dining room overlooking the water. Our room was spacious with two double beds, tile floor and bathroom with nice shower. Could have easily added another fold away bed in the room.... more
