Nice room and home with amenities including an old style Coke bottle machine free to guests. The breakfast was wonderful and room comfortable. I am returning there soon. more

we stayed in the caboose - very fun concept - cute and clean. the grounds were very nice, and we found a nice park nearby for our kiddo too. my only "complaint" was that there was an "air freshener" in the caboose that was overpowering to the point of headache. those plug-ins are so not good for you. but i... more

We treated our kids to an out-of-the-ordinary hotel stay: a caboose. What a cute and fun way to sleep! We arrived just minutes before a hail storm. Talk about loud! But the kids enjoyed sitting in the upper chairs taking in a good view of the hail as it pinged off the metal. There is a queen size bed with... more

Stayed here with my husband, toddler and infant in the caboose room on a road trip. The room was wonderful; what a treat to stay in a real caboose. It was roomy, had very good air conditioning, and would be appropriate for a family or romantic get-away. The breakfast was delicious too. Will stay there again on our travels. more

My Wife and I had planned a trip through Lubbock to Amarillo, TX. I wanted to find a special place to spend the night in Lubbock. We had never stayed in a B&B before and I wanted to try one. I found the Woodrow House after some serching and making some calls. When I called the Woodrow House, I was... more

This was truly a "Home away from Home" experience. We have two small children, and we stayed in the Caboose. Everything about this place is outstanding. The food was wonderful and the service was outstanding. We loved staying here and will be visiting again. more

I stayed at the WH while visiting Texas Tech. Loved the WH. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Dawn's breakfast was a lovely start for my long days, and chatting with the other guests was a plus. The rooms are comfortable and charming, and I liked the fact that I could control the temperature. Wireless internet was a big... more

We planned our parents 50th anniversary celebration at the Woodrow House. The rooms were beautiful and interesting; however, we were made to feel as if we invaded someone's home. We were made to feel unwelcome. Instead of informing us that this some things were not services provided or privileges that guest could have, the owners were very "cold" to the... more

This was a very unfortunate misunderstanding. We usually send out rules and regulations if 5 or more of our rooms are rented out to one family. This family only had four of the seven rooms. They assumed that because they had four rooms that they had use of the entire house. This was an inconvienence to our other guests. They...

Our family 'invaded' the Woodrow House in Lubbock, Texas. We came in peace - we brought snacks! We were made to feel at home from the minute we walked in the door. And, so, we made ourselves at home. Our guests were welcome, also, and they appreciated touring the lovely home and being able to sit and chat in a... more

We stayed in the Woodrow House on March 21 and had a wonderful time. We stayed in Granny's Attic and it was a beautiful, big room on the 3rd floor. Although the Woodrow House is located on a fairly busy street, just across from Texas Tech University, the house was quiet. We heard no street sounds during the night and... more
