- La Quinta Killeen

This is an older property, and it is badly in need of renovation. We were encouraged to see that repairs and updates had begun, but the lobby was a mess. While she was quite efficient, the desk clerk never smiled as we checked in. It would have been better for the business to just close for a few hours to...

First the good news - The two desk clerks I dealt with were very nice and efficient. A pleasure to deal with. And the room was a nice size.
Now the rest of the story - The carpet in the common areas is filthy, the carpet in my room was merely dirty. Paint and texture was flaking off the walls...

A last minute trip, I booked this hotel without any research. Arriving near midnight, I went to the front desk for a reasonably quick check-in. I was given a VingCard (plastic card with holes punched out to open the door lock) and so my adventure began. I walked in my room and fell right asleep. I awoke staring at the...

As a La Quinta Rewards memeber we have stayed in this chain all across the country. We stayed in what should of been the nicest room a King Suite. The curtains were falling down, the carpet base board we falling off. The curcuit breaker popped if we use the microwave for an extended time. The french doors seperating the two...

I don't understand the negative reviews: I stayed here many nights and it was always clean, great beds, very friendly staff. The location is not for beauty no, but very convenient.
So no worries here. Would stay here again for sure.

There are a lot of new motels in that area that would have cost about the same so I would recommend people looking into the others for lodging.

The hotel was o.k. but I probably wouldn't want to stay there again if I had another option. The hotel staff were friendly and the lobby seemed nice with a good breakfast. The room was fine with extra amenities such as a fridge and microwave and the hotel accepts pets.
We arrived at night so we couldn't see our surroundings...

My wife and I checked in late to the La Quinta in Killeen, Texas after a very long and busy day. We were both exhausted and ready to sleep. As we walked in to our room we noticed that just adjacent to the La Quinta was a burned out building- if you are looking for a view, this is not...

I stayed at La Quinta on government business trip to Fort Hood, Texas. It is ideally located for that purpose, just two miles from the Fort Hood Main Gate.
Check in was smooth and quick. They have an attractive lobby where breakfast (included in rate) is served each morning. Breakfast is good and features waffles with strawberries and whipped cream...
