We stayed in the Lugunna Room on the first floor. We had a king size bed. It was very comfortable. The room comes equipped with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. We also had a sitting area as well as a table and chairs on our own patio. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. There is everything that one could ask for... more

This was our second stay at the Inn of the Hills, and we found it to be the same pleasant place we remembered, nice setting, friendly staff, good food, clean pool and plenty of hot water. We stayed in the larger double bed rooms that overlook the pool, which we recommend. more

I thought this hotel was a great value for the money. I just I was lucky to get one of the first floor rooms facing the pool, so I might be reviewing the best the hotel has to offer. But, I loved it. Sure, it not new - but it is comfortable and relaxing. The price is right. We really... more

The "Inn" has been hit by the recession yet continues to charge pre recession rates. Overall ambience in upper areas has remained: back portion of site populated with un filled rooms showing neglect. Doors, windows, and walks unkempt.: Ivy shriveling from lack of water. Our room was cleaner than 75% of other hotel rooms we have stayed in. Upper area... more

Kerrville and the surrounding areas are very neat. So when you go down there it really isn't to hang out at the hotel even though their pool there is decent. I would say you usually are going somewhere or doing something. There aren't a lot of fancy hotels in the area and this seems to be one of the nicer... more

My mother likes this hotel as a getaway when she has to stay overnight in Kerrville. Unlike similarly priced hotels elsewhere on the strip in Kerrville, a guest gets a feeling of oasis because the hotel is oriented around the pool and gardens with a large waterfall. Several reviewers panned the food but I like the significant variety of both... more

My husband and I did a Hill country anniversary trip this fall, we wanted to stay in Kerville and decided to stay here. Mistake! The inn itself is fine but I kept asking for a particular room I had seen on the web, no one knew of this room but said our room was updated. What that means is the... more

This isn't too bad of a hotel. The rooms are comfy, the bed is allright, the food is edible, and it's clean. It's nothing special, the fridge in the room was broken, and the pool was dirty. Still, good stay. Decent spot to spend a night or two. more

We booked three rooms for a family reunion. All three rooms were upstairs, which made things difficult for two family members. There was no bell staff available, so we had to lug our bags up stairs and ramps. The rooms were musty, and not for the claustrophobic, as they are clad in wood, ceilings as well. The beds are in... more

I have spent four weekends at the Inn due to my work taking me to Kerrville. Previously, I was staying at the Best Western or Comfort Inn but I discovered that the Inn would give a corporate rate that was cheaper then the other two hotels. As noted in other reviews, the physical aspects of the Inn, outside, are quite... more
