The Clipper House Inn is very quaint and quiet. The cottages are adorable and the gardens are lovely. The Innkeepers, Barbara and Jerry, are both kind and thoughful! We felt welcome the moment we arrived. The Inn is next to their Winery and we had a wonderful tour and tasting! We will definitely come back! More

Seeing the main picture reminds me of the weekend we just spent in Kemah - we had this very room! The Clipper House Inn is not only unique, it is immaculately detailed and absolutely beautiful!! No two rooms are alike but each room has a whimsical patio of your very own. We had a fruit basket with home baked banana... More

For anyone who is looking for a wonderful get away, this is the place! The "cottages" are all different and the decor is unbeliveable. Here's Old World Charm, but with all the modern conveniences. I loved the grounds and all the little seating areas, which were all well cared for and full of all sorts of beautiful plants. It rained one... More

The Clipper House Inn is a beautiful inn, the cottages are decorated with antiques. There are beautiful gardens out side and the decks are great for lounging in early morning or late evenings. The location of the Inn is perfect, just 2 blocks off the bay and aprox 4 blocks from the boardwalk. Mr. and Mrs. Hopper are great managers... More

Recently we took a road trip to Kemah, Tx to the Clipper House Innn. What an experience! The cottage we stayed in was immaculate, charming, full of History and oh so comfortable. Being within walking distance of wonderful restaurants of all kinds...that pleased all in my "group". I would recommend this B & B to anyone that trully enjoys fine... More

My girlfriends and I try to go somewhere together once or twice a year. We have taken cruises, been to Hawaii and I think we all agree our stay at The Clipper House was our most enjoyable and relaxing time. Barbara and Jerry Hopper are the Innkeepers. Very accomodating and have wonderful recommendations. We have decided we travel to eat... More

My girlfriend and I were looking to get away and decided the Galveston area seemed as good as any. We were looking for something a little out of town and had both heard that Kemah has a certain charm to it. After looking through the travel sites, we decided to settle on Clipper House Inn, not quite knowing what to... More

My fiance' and I were in Houston for a visit and became so disgusted by the filth of downtown that we decided to get away during our "getaway". It was the end of spring break and we were so fortunate to find the Clipper House Inn had an opening. We weren't expecting much, because it was last minute...we just wanted... More

Good location, the room smelled of old mildew. Not impressed at all for the money. Would have rather stayed at Holiday Inn next door, same price. This is no B&B more like a little dump. More

I sent my parents here to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary. Upon calling to reserve, I was impressed with how friendly and helpful Barbara was. She wanted to make this weekend as perfect as I did for my parents to celebrate. When my parents arrived to their beautiful cottage overlooking the gardens and fountains, their personalized bottle of wine and... More
