Great wee stay at this hostel. It was like you lived there, it's a house converted into a hostel, the owner watched TV with you, you could cook your own meals there, keep your food in the fridge, everything necessary was there and all at a good price. I left my Scottish flag there accidentally, take good care of it... More

Lonely Planet was right about everything. Fantastic hosts, clean and well looked after hostel, cheap and easy. Little bit out of town but it is definitely manageable and good if you want to save the pennies. I highly recommend that you stay here! More

I had a great time staying here. Carlos was really helpful and knows heaps about Dallas. It's not like any other hostel that I've ever stayed in. If I come back to Dallas i will definitely stay here. Only problem is the public transport all stops at around 10 or 11 at night, but Carlos will go and pick you... More

Cleanliness - Good. The beds and sheets were clean and laundered. Kitchen, showers were clean too. Comfort - the beds are ok. I've seen worst. the common area is nice. Location - it sucks. it is way out of main areas of interest. train is one way to get around to airport and Downtown. but it does not run on... More

I had a great time in Irving Dallas. One of the housekeepers named Carlos will do anything to make you feel at home. He's your cabdriver, tourguide, information centre etc.. Free internet, coffee, linnen, towels, hot showers and laundry services. For $20 per night you've got your money's worth! Highly recommendable. More

We stayed here for 4 nights in December and loved the place. The hostel is actually a large house, and it has a really comfortable lounge room. There s a tv, free internet, phone for local calls and fuze ball table. The kitchen is fully stocked for you to use and are a couple of bathrooms and a laundry, which... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in October 2009. It is about 15 minutes walk from Irving rail station about 3 blocks. It is close to the supermarket about 20 minute walk and there is a convenience store across the street. Some people complain about the walking distance but I actually prefer walking for the exercise since we... More

The hostel itself is pretty standard set up, nice large kitchen with bathrooms and bunk beds, it has fussball and a dart board, sofas and a tv, internet access and free local calls, although the website we found it on said it had a pool which it didn't. We met loads of cool people there, being one of the very... More

A hostel is a hostel. But the good atmosphere and the cool people I met (both the staff and the guests) gave me good memories of Dallas. Oh yes, Ivan is a wonderful person who manages to make you feel at home whether you are from the West or the East. A good place to stop at when in Dallas.... More
