Everything and everybody was great. I came for the quilt festival. I had friends and family members with me. We had also brought my 2 year old granddaughter. This is a good business hotel, and is exceptional at getting the job done for business travelers. If you are on vacation, I might not recommend this hotel unless you are just looking for a one nighter in downtown. I stayed at Doubletree Downtown Houston while attending a conference. The rooms were average as was the customer service. The breakfast buffet was not good for the price paid. There was no wireless internet in the room, only in the lobby area. The rooms were wired with ethernet cords only. There aren't many restaurants in the area and those nearby... more

I am a frequent business travel, and use the Hilton family of hotels almost every stay. This hotel was clean and comfortable. When I got in my room was ready and I was greeted with a warm chocolate chip cookie. Nice big room with a comfy king bed and a great view of Houston. Room service was great, airport shuttle too. The loud wedding was luckily 18 floors below. Not far from Montrose area. Overall a great value though downtown needs a bit more services/nightlife on the weekend. more
