Super convienent to Houstom Hobby Airport. Free shuttle can be there in less then 10 minutes. Pappas Rib House a three minute walk away. Not the nicest neiborhood but not scary! Hotel has potential, but the front desk staff has no clue what hospitality is. While my Expedia itinerary said Austin to HOU (Hobby)at the top of the receipt I ended up at the George Bush International Airport which is a $25 Super Shuttle ride versus the free shuttle Best Western offers from Hobby. Spent one night-got 2 rooms. Manager was very nice and very helpful. We stayed close to the airport because of free shuttle. No problem at all with the place. There was a funny smell in the room but turned the air on and it went away. Seems to be a moldy moisture smell common to this area. I will stay... more

Nice, clean. pleasant basic hotel, with very friendly staff, and a few extras like free wifi in rooms and an inet terminal in the lobby and decent free breakfast, for a few dollars a night more than the very rock bottom hotels in the area.
