We have stayed a many Marriott properties, and we found this one just average. It is an old property and it felt old. We were there on a Sunday night, which may not be the most exciting of times, but the bar/lounge was actually dreary. The location is good if shopping at the Galleria is in your plans.

When I stay in Houston I stay here not because it's the best room but because of the staff. They genuinely care for their clients. You're always greeted with a warm smile and a kind word. If you ask for anything, these people listen and try to make it happen. Best staff in town.
