Stayed here 1 night until we could get a hotel closer to the medical center. Stayed on a floor that had not been remodeled yet. Very dated and dreary feel. Get your room cheap and the hotel is worth the stay. Pay over $100 and you will be disappointed. Read the other reviews...they are ALL correct...the good, the bad, and the ugly. I don't understand how people say this area is shady or iffy. Obvisously they’ve never been to Houston before because the ENTIRE city is shady, and iffy because of the no zoning laws. If you're looking to get in and out of Houston quickly, this hotel is great as it is located just off the highway.
