Hotel is easy to find - right off IH45, convinient to many restaurants and shopping and, best of all, 5 minutes from Johnson Space Center, 10 min. from Kemah Boardwalk, and 5 minutes from Armound Bayou Nature Center. Our young family always enjoys staying at Homewood properties because of the separate bedroom accommodations and privacy this affords. Stayed in one bedroom suite. Huge, for a hotel room. Comfortable Beds, kitchen with full size refridgerator (w/ ice maker). Working fireplace in room is a cozy touch. We were evacuees from hurricane Katrina and stayed at this hotel for a little over two weeks. The hotel is clean, new, and nicely decorated. Daily maid service is awesome. (Some other "home away from home" hotels only clean your room once or twice a week.) Our room was like being in a one bedroom apartment rather than a hotel.... more
