My husband and I stayed in the Mt. Laurel room our wedding night, it was more beautiful than I could imagine. We both felt right at home, and far enough away to continue our special night. We enjoyed the outside jacuzzi, with a bottle of champagne even though it was below 50 degrees outside. Our room was beautiful, and everything... More

My wife and I planned a weekend away in Dripping Springs. For roughly the same price as any hotel, the Mt. Gainor Inn is WAY more bang for your buck, in addition to a truly wonderful place to stay. The food was outstanding. The accommodations were unique, serene, and offered much more of a memorable experience than booking at the... More

We were looking for a B&B that has privacy and great views for a quick get away before Christmas. Found Mt. Gainor Inn online and reserved the newest room, The Veranda. We arrived after visiting some of the local winery's and were greeted by Jerry, one of the owners, who showed us the property. The room on the 2nd story,... More

My wife and I decided to spend a week exploring the Texas hill country. We wanted something central to the area but out in the country. This fit the bill perfectly! Quiet and serene with beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast and great hosts; we couldn't have asked for more!

Attending our son's Texas hill country wedding, we found Mt. Gainor Inn online. We were not disappointed! You can't believe how elegant it is inside this modest looking farmhouse! The breakfasts were fabulous, the rooms beautiful and comfortable with every amenity possible, and the locale just so serene. We enjoyed feeding the horses with our granddaughter, walking on the 28... More

The Inn was truly a home away from home. Visiting with the Innkeepers was like visiting with old friends, and the atmosphere serene and beautiful, a wonderful place to get away for a while! The food was absolutely delicious.

This inn was a great jumping off place. We went into Wimberly for a great day of artists, shopping, and wine. And it was great to be able to come back and relax at the inn. The hammocks are divine! The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful.

My boyfriend and I needed a place to escape from the busy city of Austin and heard this was it. We headed out on Sunday afternoon and were greeted by Laurie and Jerry the owners of the inn. We randomly found this B and B in the hill country and did not know what to expect, but it wa a wonderful positive experience for myself and my wife. It's very laid back and you have to go with the right attitude. Yes, it's isolated but that's the beauty of the place. We would drive about 7 miles into... More
