Attended AMA conference which was being held at the hotel... Great conference by the way but the room was absolutely not the best I felt that it simply was not what I expected. I felt as though it was unclean left room at 9PM to run to the local Target to purchase Lysol because the room had a stale smell.... more
I stayed at the hotel once it was remodelled and it is actually a very nice stay. My room had a refridgerator and microwave which was convenient. The staff was also pretty nice. Being remodeled, this old Holiday Inn is going to be a Radisson come next year (2008). There appears to be a new wing being added with more rooms. The hotel does have an exercise room and a pool. Stayed for a conference. Had to use travel agency organization used to book conference. Something about ads for tattoos and condoms turned me off to the area. Facility is under major renovations to bring it up to Radisson standards. Sign says Radisson in 2008. First room in a non smoking wing, reaked of cigarette smoke. This hotel is okay if you need a place to sleep and are not looking for any luxury. The rooms were comfortable. We did have a hard time getting enough towels though.
