Good location for downtown Dallas. Walk to Elm Street, see the Plaza.
Big praise to Ingrid at front desk for sorting out a few issues very quickly and professionally.

This hotel is in a great spot -- within walking distance of the convention center, great restaurants, JFK museum, and even the arts district if you don't mind a little longer walk. That said, the immediate neighborhood doesn't feel too safe after dark; I'd advise a taxi if you're travelling solo. For a hotel that averaged over $200/night with taxes...

The room I was assigned to adjoins another room through an inner door. Walls were so thin I could hear the TV and conversation in the other room. I called reception several times to complain and nothing was done.
Outside my window there was a glass filled with cigarette stubs, obviously, left unchecked and not cleared away.
As a Priority...

I would recommend the Crowne Plaza Downtown Dallas, for it's value for money: good location adjacent to a DART stop. Within walking distance to all the major downtown sites: Sixth Floor Museum/Dealey Plaza, Convention Center, Arts District. Rooms are not luxurious but comfortable and clean. My one disappointment was that there really was no concierge and front desk did not...

We stayed here for 6 nights in Jan 12. Hotel and facilities were terrific, staff we're very helpful and the hotel bar and restaurant is a great place to hang out when not out exploring.
No issues arose during our stay, and it's within reasonable walking distance to the American Airlines Centre etc.
Only downside is the fairly dodgy little...

I am from Dallas, but I stayed at this hotel for New Years Eve so that I wouldn't have to worry about driving home after a night out. When I checked in, I was placed on a floor that appeared to be under construction (the floors had plastic wrap on them in the hallway). This was supposed to be a...

For the price, we were happy with the room, but the bathroom needed work: 1. The toilet sealer cap needed to be replaced...we could hear the water running on and off all night. 2. The tub needed to be redone....it felt like it was re-glazed but they left a rough surface on the bottom of the tub....which makes it uncomfortable...

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. I enjoyed it.
The parking is very tight and the logistics of the hotel are different; however, the room service was good and staff were very friendly.

Stayed here the weekend on the White Rock Lake Marathon. It was $160 for 2 night/2 people. It's a nice hotel, OK area ( sits next to large bus stop and Dart system) and easy access to the Amtrak/Union station, walkable distance. There is a free shuttle provided any place within a 3 mile radius. However, the driver was unprofessional...

Stayed at Crowne Plaza in Downtown Dallas from 18th-26th November and found it to be a perfect location within easy walking distance of local attractions, restaurants and local public transport system. The hotel also providies a shuttle to/from the American Airline Centre especially useful for Stars & Mavs games. We found the staff to be excellent, nothing being too much...
