Location is everything as this hotel proves. No offense intended, but Burnet is in the middle of nowhere. This place is worth $ 79.00 a night at peak season, max. During busy times, such as high school graduations, this property charges $200.00 a night. The ONLY reason to stay at this "hotel" is if you have relatives in the area... more
Necessary to stay in Burnet, and we are big HI Express fans, but this stay was not so good. The air quality in the hotel is poor and made my wife sick. My husband and I needed a weekend getaway. Since Burnet is close, but away from home, and because we knew that the area was surrounded by lakes, this was the motel I picked. I am a member of the Priority club, I used their web site to make reservations. We were very happy when we arrived to see the outside... more
We've stayed here three times, picking up kids at camp. The hotel was never good, and is getting worse. 2006, the room smelled like a kennel. The hotel offered us a bottle of air freshner. Don't stay unless you have no choice. more
