The pool is closed all week, not told this when reservation was made. This made me very angry. The beds are incredibly hard and uncomfortable. Not your usual Holiday Inn Express. Wish we had stayed at Comfort Suites next door. more

My family and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past year while visiting. We have always enjoyed our stay and never experienced any problems. We can't imagine staying at another hotel in Bastrop, none are as nice. more

I can see no reason for the bad reviews that this hotel has recieved. We stayed one night this week and were quite pleased. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Some friends put us up here for their wedding nearby, and we thought it was just fine. Room was very clean, no smells, no grime. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Furnishings were pleasant and contemporary and in new condition. Free wireless internet in the room.
