Room was clean, quiet and spacious. Townsend is such a nice place to stay and really is the quiet side of the Smokies.

We have stayed at this motel a minimum of once a year for several years. It is definitely the place to stay if you like a quiet vacation. We enjoy it because it is only 15 minutes from Cades Cove, however; if you want to go to Pigeon Forge, it is only about a 30 minute drive. And, if you...

We stayed here after 2 nights in Gatlinburg. Townsend was a much better location for us. Gatlinburg was just too touristy but can understand why it would suit families.
This hotel was clean and comfortable. We had a very nice meal at Timbers. Would certainly recommend staying here.

The hotel was decent, but certainly not great. Had to switch out a bad fridge. Clean, Good beds. Plain otherwise. Close to Cades Cove.

We've stayed at this hotel many times over the years in its many brandings -- as a Hampton Inn, then independent as the Parkview Inn, as a Comfort Inn, and now an Econolodge. We have always been very pleased here in the past, but it seems under its current identity the owners/managers may be trying to make it "fit" more...

We had been driving all day through the smokies when we found this hotel. We were so tired and were so pleasantly surprised when we opened our door to a very nice, clean and well kept room. The hotel looks fairly new or recently updated. We have children and a small dog and this room was large and roomy enough...

My wife & I stayed in this Econo Lodge this April during our weekend trip to Townsend to see the Great Smoky Mountains NP. My only reason to choose this hotel was to get the Choice Privilege points for our stay and it was the worst decision I have ever taken while planning a trip.
The only nice thing I...

For those of you that don't know the history of this hotel it has been through several chains over time. It started out as a Hampton Inn at which time it was very nice and the customer service was impeccable. It then went to the "Parkside Inn" which was independently owned by the same folks, just not under a chain...

My mother and I visited in June, and we can't complain about any of those things I've been reading. Our beds were very comfortable, and the room was very clean. The breakfast was what it is--a continental free breakfast. No worse than many hotels have, and if someone is planning on a 5 star and staying in the room a whole...

This place was a real dump. Stayed 2 nights. Left early the first day and when I returned late the room had not been cleaned nor beds made. Front desk people acted like they would rather be in Abu Ghraib than this motel-hell. Contintental breakfast was stale cereal and 3 day old donuts..yuckk. If you are a coffee drinker run...
