We booked Lyell Cottage over the net in Marysville not really knowing what to expect. We wanted to be near the vineyards and the mountains and it seemed to be quite a good halfway spot.

The drive to Marysville was lovely and we arrived late in the evening . The town was deserted with only two rows of shops but lots of lovely trees, flowers and a nice quiet park.

The cottage was nice, clean and comfortable. The host, cant really remember his name was friendly and helpful. It was a good and relaxing stay there and we'll never forget the walk at night to Stephenson Fall - lovely, quiet but creepy too The Fall at night is a must!!!! more
