Stayed here over night whilst in Wales for a Rugby League game. Disgusting 'hotel'... expensive for what facilities were on offer. The beds were very uncomfortable, linen was dirty had to ask for fresh and still wasn't impressed when replaced. The staff were rude, very unhelpful, especially the lady on the front desk. The rooms decorations are appauling, I know... more

Was a bit wary after reading all the reviews so was pleasantly surprised. The Saturday receptionist was very helpful and happliy changed one of our rooms to a ground floor room when our dog (yes the dog) couldn't manage the stairs to the first floor. Rooms are large, comfortable amd quiet. The location is rural which was a surprise. The... more

When we got to the room, the carpet was covered in dog hair. We asked the reception to come and hoover up, which she did but this is not a good sign is it? Secondly, we had booked a family room for 4 and there was only linen for 2. Luckily, we brought the kids' linen with us (sleeping bags).... more

Very hard to find. Got to go through the Harvester restaurant car park, round the back and no signs either. Arriving at the reception, they have a weird telephone base to call for staff as desk was empty. Receptionist gave no greeting and started check-in until another guest wanted help with the operation of his heating (in JUNE!!). She stopped... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night to visit friends,as previously said ,it's very hard to find down a lane behind a Nice looking busy Harvester restaurant, but at night you could easily miss it. The room was vile standard Travelodge but with added stale smoke and damp smell the pillows smelt awful so we used the spare one that... more

We stayed for 2 nights to visit family in the area and managed to get the £15 a night offer, so considering the price I can't complain too much, but if I had paid the full rate I would have expected better for the money. Firstly the hotel is very badly signposted from the main road and in the dark... more

Hotel is at the back of the Harvester restaurant. It is a bit hidden as you approach. It is in a quiet location. A bit in the middle of nowhere. Arrived there at 2.43pm after a long journey from Scotland. No one on reception. Pressed bell and a lady came. "I'm just the cleaner - the receptionist doesn't start 'til... more
