This B&B is really lovely - my husband and I have stayed there twice, for the Mach comedy festival. We'll continue to stay here because we get such a lovely welcome from Mike and Gill. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the breakfasts are fab, especially the homemade preserves and bread, and lovely bacon from the local butcher. Mike... More

We've stayed at Dyfi View for the last 3 Mach comedy festivals and will continue to do so. After a long days comedy, nothing beats their comfortable beds, excellent views and great-tasting breakfasts! If you're looking for a well-run and homely B&B in town, this is the one!

This was our third stay at DyfiView and we'll continue to come back. Lovely setting & views, very convenient for town but quiet location. Always made to feel extremely welcome by Gill & Mike and the facilities are second to none; comfy beds and spotless. Would recommend DyfiView to anyone wanting to visit the Machynlleth area.

We have stayed at Dyfiview for three years in a row for the Mach Comedy festival. The facilities are wonderful, the owners so friendly, the location ideal. I think it is the personal touches that make it so good, home made jams and fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden. The rooms are really comfortable and clean, and the... More

Good -sized bedroom and en-suite (shower, no bath). Flat screen tv/dvd (we brought films with us to watch after a tiring day's biking) Very good quality linen and comfy bed Lots of storage and hanging space. Great breakfast - homemade breads and jams, eggs fresh from the hens in the garden, good coffee. Hosts were friendly and welcoming without being... More

This B&B has a great location up above the town (only 10 minutes at most via a pleasant walk down to the main st in Machynlleth), with superb views of the Dyfi valley. The rooms are very comfortable, recently renovated and well-looked after - a great deal for the price. The hosts Mike and Gill are friendly, thoughtful and accommodating... More

Thanks for such a great review and to know that you enjoyed your stay despite that nightmare journey! We were delighted to receive 'excellent' grades across the board. I trust your wedding planning was all completed successfully - and good luck with 'the big day'. More

A friend and I stayed here for 2 nights for a mountain biking long weekend. We arrived after riding the Brecon Gap route, damp and dirty but that was no problem. The room was clean and well equipped. The owners Mike and Gill were very helpful in helping us find our way around town, and had maps and local knowledge... More

Lovely to have such an upbeat review. Gill was thrilled that you bought a jar of her marmalade! Fortunately she doesn't have to give many guests' cars a jump start but we always try to do whatever we can to help any guests with a problem. More

The view from the bedroom was panoramic. Mike the host was handsome in his chef's uniform when preparing breakfast, which was made with eggs from his industrious hens & local bacon & sausage from the best butcher in Machynlleth. The place was truly spotless, the bed sumptuous with quality bedding. I would go there again.

Elegant, spotless, spacious accommodation. We chose it because it is very near the train station (5 mins, steep walk). Mike fitted in with our non-standard arrival time and made us very welcome. The details were so good: great selection of books & dvds, advice & maps on where to eat out, custom-cooked breakfast with home-made jams, secure undercover parking for... More

We picked Machynlleth as a centre to go around mid-Wales and the coast, mostly on trains (the trains are great value here). So firstly Dyfiview is very close to the station (albeit up a steepish hill), and still conmvenient for the town. We had the bigger room and it had stunning views. Mike and Gill were lovely, friendly, funny, helpful... More
