we arrived at glendower b&b and given the keys to our rooms. Our room was outdated and old with a cramped bathroom.
the view was nice but the comfort of the room was not nice.
the bed was old and springy.
the owner could not recommend a decent restaurant because we might not like what she liked.

We received a warm welcome when we walked in off the street (early evening) without a booking. Was recommended by the Tourist Information Centre, so surely that says something! A traditional Welsh B&B right in the heart of St Davids. I'd happily recommend and will return. For £35 a night it was incredibly good value. A little old fashioned for some, perhaps. But I found it clean, comfortable and friendly, and perfect for walkers.
