It was completely different from being at home and just what was needed. A very relaxing atmosphere and homely. The area and the people was so friendly too so we'd definitely go back again. more

I cannot recommend awelfan highly enough. Karen and Eva welcomed us into their home and made us feel part of the family. Elegant, clean and modern room with a splendid bathroom and sea views; cooked breakfast to make your stomach smile; advice on restaurants and places to visit; and Welsh cakes to start! A thoroughly great place and a treat... more

From the welcome with fresh welshcakes to sumptious cooked breakfast and even plasters for sore heels, Karen made our stay comfortable and relaxing. She took so much trouble even ringing pubs to make bookings for supper and the rooms were comfortable and very well equipped. more

A group of 8 friends plus some offspring have just returned from a weekend in West Wales to celebreate some milestone birthdays! 10 of us stayed 1 night at Awelfan and really enjoyed Karen's warm, friendly hospitality. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and welsh cakes on arrival went down well. Breakfast was delicious. The location is good for... more

My second visit and look forward to returning. Delightful hostess, welcoming but not overwhelming. Able to provide lots of information on the area. Swimming pool, yoga lessons (if you want them), outstanding breakfast, very comfortable. Views of the sea - stunning landscapes and coast line. Absolutely beautiful and uplifting area. What more could you want? more

Awel Fan is a highly recommended experience. We had a warm reception with (welsh cakes) from Karen, who was practical, very clear and communicative, helpful and pleasant. We had a good seaview. All the coastal walks for miles around are very beautiful, quite breathtaking, the combination of rockface, grasses, flowers, birds, sea, light is equal to anywhere I've seen in... more

We received a very warm welcome from Karen and enjoyed some lovely home made Welsh cakes in the conservatory after settling in to our room. The room was very spacious and clean with a fantastic view of the sea. We had a surprisingly large private bathroom which was also very clean. Karen was the perfect host from the start, finding... more

This B&B is located midway between St Davids and Fishgard. The host (Karen) is very welcoming and really made us feel at home. The feeling is of very personalised service, this is definitely not a "mass production" B&B. Karen has good ideas of what to do in the area that would be difficult to find without local advice. She suggested... more
