Run by a recently retired British couple, The Arthur provides superior accommodation while still retaining the pricing of a hostel. The rooms are spacious and clean. Maggie and Jack provide an excellent service in this lovely guesthouse, facing Cardigan Bay. Waking up to the sound of the waves takes some beating, as does their delicious breakfasts. The rooms are tastefully furnished, immaculately clean and if you're not lucky enough to get a sea view room, (book early) the rooms at the back have wonderful views of... More

If you are going to Wales you must stay at the Arthur. It is one of the best experiences you will ever have in a small friendly hotel. The whole expereince is just wonderful. The rooms are modern and bright and very clean. The food is beautifully prepared and served. And best of all the staff, that is mainly Maggie... More

You always get a warm and friendly welcome from hosts Jack & Maggie to their 4 star Guest House. The Guest House is situated overlooking Cardigan Bay and just a few feet from the beach at Tywyn. Parking could not be any easier. We have stayed here on several occasions and have chosen the seaview room with views over Cardigan... More

We stayed with our teenage children in the apartment at The Arthur. It is light and spacious with 360 degree views of the mountains, sea and town. The whole apartment is immaculate and equipped with all you need to enable you to travel light, and everything worked. There is a heating control in the apartment in case of cold weather,... More

Beautiful, clean rooms with all the facilities you would expect. Hosts could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had Room 3 which overlooks the seafront, stunning views. The room next door had a bacony which would be lovely on hot summer evenings. This is an excellent guest house in a stunning location, beautiful sunset views over Cardigan... More
