The short stay of 2 nights was extremely pleasant with a festive atmosphere and excellent staff service. The building is historic and memorable. The staff were all efficient, friendly and helpful. The upgrade to one of the refurbished rooms was a bonus --- it was large, beautifully furnished and well-maintained. I hope to return soon. More

Stayed here for a wedding/my birthday. We were given a large room but quite dated. The decor and furniture needs updating but bed was very comfy. Food at wedding and breakfast was very nice although annoyed had 2pay 4a full English if wanted 1. Breakfast was traditional welsh. Shame as room was over £100. More

Visited the castle this past weekend. Having read numerous reviews my wife an I were very exited and looked forward to our visit. The room we were given was nothing short of disgraceful. In the back behind the kitchen it was dirty, smelling of mold. The rug was worn and filthy. The bathroom likewise a mess. On the bright side.... More
