You be hard pressed to find better value for money and in such a lovely location. Staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. Rooms were spotless and a good nights sleep was had by all. Could not get into the Best Western Cross Lanes, which is my usual hotel and so they booked me in here. Bedrooms were fine and had free W.I.F.I. Just slept there and did not have breakfast.

had a last minute overnight stay on the way back from Rhyl on the 6th April 2012. Found our family room really spacious and comfortable. Carvery was excellent and so was the breakfast.

The Holt Lodge is some way out from Wrexham but is in a pleasant country location and has a bright and airy restaurant with a welcoming bar and a good reputation for its carvery and regular menu. Stayed at weekend at holt lodge for a christening. All in all very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and carvery. Very pleasant staff. Would recommend. Only a few miles outside of wrexham.

I stay here a lot..I like the restaurant, nice food. Bar is cosy with plenty of sofas and couple of snug areas. Breakfast is fine, no complaints. Free wifi is good but wasn't available in my room. Went on a Groupon this weekend. Had a lovely stay. great value for money, great service and a warm cosy hotel. Rooms slightly tired but that is a minor observation and at the price you pay thiis hotel is unbelievable value for money.
