The only "bread and breakfast" about this place is the price. The building itself is beautifully restored converted from a dilapidated barn. The food is good from the very friendly chef. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The surrounding landscaping is tranquil and beautiful. Perfect for a break away from the city.

We decided to try The Outbuildings for an evening meal following excellent reviews. As a bed and breakfast (as supposed to a restaurant) we weren't really sure what to expect however it is a lovely warm welcome and excellent quality food at a reasonable price that awaits you here. Stayed in the pink hut for two nights-quirky and fun. Francois' cooking excellent and staff attentive, special mention for Beth,who is wonderful. Views cannot be surpassed- a great place to stay. After a day's walking the cake and coffee is a lovely touch. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and plentiful.
