2 nights at end of may for wedding .hotel is very old and not sound- insulated.couple having row next-could hear everything.no double glazing-unacceptable for £100 per night.sash windows rattled necessitating wedging kleenex in gap-niece in adjoining room had same problem and found same solution.drunks outside could be heard clearly.very cheap sausages for buffet breakfast.would not recommend or return.
Stayed at the Bulkeley for the second successive year as a golfing society. As with last year, the accomodation was first class, the staff courteous and helpful and the food was excellent. In short, I'd highly recommend the Bulkeley (especially to golfers - make sure you play Bangor St Deniol GC), and we'll definitely be back. Thanks!

The scaffolding is only in the internal yard of the hotel and is for our own maintenance team for essential roofing...

Tired, scruffy and uncared for. Coffee shop, very disappointing, filthy revolving door, shabby table cloths covered in crumbs. It wasn't possible to sit and enjoy a coffee as the area is used as a busy thoroughfare by locals and workmen ( ie: the gardener, painter, friends of the staff behind the counter, to name but a few.)

Stayed on a Saturday in May. Despite a huge wedding and a large group of classic car enthusiasts we got good service and were well looked after. Went to the hotel to celibrate a special occasion 7th to 10th May 2012 and were very disapointed.
Room needed updating, thick dust on top of the wardrobe which we discovered when taking suit carrier off to pack on departure,bathroom was poor with very low pressure on the shower.Staff generally discourtious. Some lounge furniture ripped. Food selection poor at dinner....

We didn't actually stay in the hotel but I thought it worthwhile mentioning my visit because the staff were so nice.
We were actually camping in Beaumaris and popped into town for a few beers and some food.

The Hotel & its location are perfect. Rms 104 & 204 are beautiful with three large windows allowing great views of the sea & mountains beyond. The rooms are decorated to a high standard. The restaurant of this hotel has a great position with sea-view. They offer a well priced menu (4 courses). Good atmosphere, the food was lovely, the service was especially welcoming and very attentive. We reccomend it.
