Excellent venue - food, wine, service and restaurant definitely deserve the Michelin rating. Comfortable seating, warm atmosphere and setting. Only downside that we were the only guests for our two night stay and only two other diners. More

There is no question the food at Bodegroes is on par with a Michelin restaurant. I have eaten in numerous Michelin eateries and this is right up there with the best. Good service to begin with and the comfortable lounge for canapes sets the tone for the evening. We were then taken to our table where a wonderful appetiser was... More

Had a fantastic meal here last saturday night,Having eaten in some very good restaurants over the years and this has to be up there with the best.I must say that I find it hard to understand how this establishment hasn't got a Michelin star.It certainly is as good as many other restaurants that I 've eaten in recently which has... I could not recommend this hotel and restaurant highly enough, particulary for a weekend break. The staff are warm and welcoming all day, the rooms are comfortable, spotless and welcomed our dog, the setting is stunning, with lost of good places to explore in the area including spectacular beaches to walk on but it is the food that is so... Plas Bodegroes is a wonderful little haven in North Wales. The food is simply divine, you have to try the Blackberry parfait, heaven on a spoon! The rooms are simply but stylishly furnished and very clean. The staff are extremely helpful and efficient and seem to have a real pride in all they do. It is a real treat to... More

Having just spent 4 nights at plas Bodeegroes wew would agree with the majority of the otehr reviews. This is a lovely house with a fabulous restaurant. The food is great and very reasonably priced. The bedrooms are also pleasant - our room was in the annexe - a nice bright room with plenty of space. And the fresh leaf... More

We stayed nearby and were recommended to eat here by the neighbours - but book well ahead. We did and had a wonderful evening, the decor is that cool blend of Nordic sparseness but with a nod to its Georgian roots. Superb food, great flavours and impeccable service made this a perfect night. It is'nt cheap but as they say... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our dog Henry on a trip to Wales last year. We knew about this little gem after my parents had stayed here and my uncle has been here twice. The location is great, the grounds are great, rooms are lovely and bonus because it is dog friendly. Breakfasts are also lovely.... More

I decided to surprise my wife with a nights stay at Plas Bodegroes for our fifth wedding anniversary. It was to be the first time we had left our youngest son overnight so I was after something special. Upon arrival the house does not fail to impress. The building and grounds are simply stunning. Our room was very well appointed... More

stayed here for one night, with the restaurant a particular attraction. We were not disappointed. A lovely house with lovely decor and artwork with strong Scandanavian influence, peaceful setting with tranquil gardens and interesting sculptures. Our room (2) was excellent, no complaints at all other than absence of tea-making facilities. All staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Dinner was divine,... More
