Amazing campsite , spotless facilities , camp fires and bbqs . What a fantastic site , kids playing in the stream or on rope swings , going on bike rides , just being kids. Huge pitches , large enough for 2 tents and great price. This place is a slice of heaven and quite begrudgingly reviewing it because it's a... More

We had one night here and it is a great campsite that is what camping is all about: it's not a 'holiday park' but the kind of secluded, relaxed place where kids can play; where you can have a campfire; go for a walk around the river and waterfalls and generally unwind. Shops are a bit of a trek so... More

Gorgeous campsite set in stunning valley. Great fun to be had in river and walks beyond to suit all abilities. Amenities good and friendly welcome. Camp fires encouraged and they were very flexible as to where you wanted to pitch. Do take note though that you have to pay extra for shower tokens - 50p for 6mins and WiFi was... More

A very welcoming greeting made for a great start to our four day holiday. The campsite is very well serviced by some of the cleanest toilets and washing facilities I've ever seen anywhere. We were able to camp wherever we wanted and to have a camp fire which the children thoroughly enjoyed. A wonderful base for a beautiful region.

We were camping at Shell Island when we stumbled upon this campsite, I was very jealous of the people who were staying there after I viewed the facilities, they were 100% better than those I was contending with on Shell Island! The place itself is beautiful, sheltered from the wind so great for camping, small campsite so not very busy.... More

We are a family of four with two children under five. We had a very friendly greeting and were left to choose our tent pitch. Although the site was very busy, you still felt you had enough space and privacy. The children loved paddling and playing on the rope swing over the river which runs to the edge of the... More

We had family and friends in the campsite and we stayed in the static caravan behind the farm as an option in case of poor weather. Camping facilities are great and we had the fire pit lit each night which is a bonus as not all campsites are as accommodating with fires. Caravan was great although it may not be... More

Well sign posted, super easy to find. Really nice wood woodland walk, some very big steep steps not ideal for elderly or children and it is NOT buggy friendly on the woodland walk. By the looks of it nice camp-site, nice little shop, and the car park cost £3

This is slightly hard to get to, quite steep and only a single track lane, with, at one point, a steep drop on one side. We didn't stay at the campsite, but just went to see the waterfalls. Cost £3 to park for the full day. There are a few different walks to do, we did the river one, after... More
