Susan, eccellent landlady, welcomes you with a smile at Tyddyn Llan. The hotel is set amidst a manucured garden. The rooms are comfortable, provided with magazines, CD and DVD. The lounge invites you to sit and chat for an aperitif and a nightcup. Add an attentive service, and you have a perfect location for your holiday or anniversary or family reunion.... More

We enjoyed the special offer two night spring break here last week and considered it to be excellent value. Although we were the only people staying & dining on the first night this did not affect the service or food which were both superb. Succulent griddled scallops with vegetable relish and rocket were followed with the best rack of new... More

Tyddyn LLan is beautifully located in quiet countryside It has the feel of private house and the welcome is warm and comforting. Rooms are well equiped. The quality of the cooking is excellent, using the finest ingredients, although we found the portions a little too generous. Breakfast was first class, I particularly enjoyed the bacon and duck eggs - far... More

Tyddyn Llan is a place I just want to keep coming back to again and again. From the moment you turn into the drive you know you are going to experience something special. You are immediately greeted and seated in a lovely lounge (or outside in the summer) and your drinks arrive. The menu is a nightmare - there is... More

We recently stayed at the Tyddyn Llan. I'd mailed ahead that it was a special stay (birthday & anniversary). On arrival, there was a birthday & anniversary card waiting, hand-written by the owners, and every one congratulated us. Talk about the personal touch. The Garden Room Suite we stayed in was a beautiful mix of classic & contemporary. Absolutely immaculate... More

Life is not the same up here. It is miles to anywhere and we all develope our own way of doing things. The Tyddyn LLan is no exception which is why, in lots of ways, it is magical because it is a little crazy. The staff always, but quite charmingly, get things a little wrong. Food is in country portions... More

We have stayed at Tyddyn Llan three times now. We think that it is worth coming all the way from France for the wonderful welcome and absolutely delicious food. Susan is an exceptional front of house surrounded by friendly and professional staff. The food is fresh, delicious and brought in from the freshest sources in that part of Wales. Bryan... More

We completely booked out this "Restaurant with rooms" for my best friends wedding and I have to say that none of us were impressed! Rooms were quite basic, the bedding smelt of chlorine and felt scratchy and uncomfortable ours was even stained in several places. In terms of amenities, our room (11) included a ipod speaker dock, DVD player plugged... More

I first visited Tyddyn Llan in April 2010 with my partner - we only came for dinner on that occasion but vowed we'd come back and spend a night there, which we did 10 months later for our anniversary. This 'restaurant with rooms' is full of the character of its proprietors, Bryan and Susan Webb – when you visit Tyddyn... More
