Great location, clean room, great breakfast and by far the most friendly B&B in Harlech. We'll come back!

My wife and I stayed just 1 night, the room was adequate but not quite up to the price paid, just a little "tired" but the breakfast did make up for this with a particularly good array of breakfast foods including plenty of fresh fruit followed by a very good cooked plateful, the host was discrete but also friendly.

Close to the castle but far enough away to avoid traffic; welcoming and unobtrusive host; nice breakfast; quiet, good room; a bit pricey for my tastes but if it's in your price range, I very much recommend Byrdir

A wonderful B&B, when our stay at a Castle B&B proved to be not up to our expectations we were lucky enough to find a room here. Great host and a beautiful place, highly recommended. We will return for another stay here.

Last minute few days away in North Wales, what a wonderful time we had. The weather was brilliant and accommodation and food were brilliant. Couldn't ask for a better base. We arrived a bit late in the evening to a warm anf friendly welcome. We were shown the room without asking, no need to pay at that point and was allowed to settle in. The drinks brought at the bar were added to our bill so no need to pay at that point, just chill and relax. The night sleep... More

We arrived in Harleck with no reservation. We were wellcomed right away. Room was very clean and spacious, and a view on the sun setting and sea view (front facing). this is the third time we've stayed at Byrdir House, and we'll definitely come again. It is the perfect combination of a friendly, happy host, excellent, quality breakfast, comfortable bed with good linen and pillows, ample space in the rooms, a clean bathroom and a brilliant location. Highly recommended.
