We were very excited to be staying at St Curigs Church for our 14th wedding anniversary. The building is fantastic, so unusual, and to our relief not too formal. We were met by Monica (who is living in at the moment). She was so friendly and welcoming, after a quick drop of the bags, Monica pointed us in the direction... More

Stayed here last month for two nights with friends in two four poster double rooms. Alice was very accommodating, she waited for us till we arrived quite late at night. The rooms were very clean, nice and cosy and both ensuite. The Church is located in the heart of Snowdon. It is as beautiful inside as it is outside.Great views.Has... More

We were a group of six 20-30 year olds using St Curig's as a base for some winter biking/hiking/drinking. From the start Alice was very accommodating, there was no problem producing a mattress for an extra person to stay in the bunkhouse (normally sleeps four) and our friend was allowed to park her van on the premises for free and... A lovely converted B&B with so much character and in such a good location (20 min drive from the pathway up to Mt Snowdon). We were made to feel at home instantly and just loved what had been achieved by converting a church into this beautiful B&B. The communal areas were a little cold and did have a pet smell... More

i have stayed here on 3 occasions and every time i have received a warm welcome and high standards. This is a b&b which suits walkers as you feel comfortable in your scruffs and muddy boots and there is also only a very small tv and limited clothes space (in the rooms i have stayed in) but with the beautiful... We were booked onto an adventure weekend with X Adventure Activities (www.xadventureactivities.co.uk - AMAZING fun on its own), who booked us into St Curig's Church. Expecting a hostel, we were shocked when we drove up to the beautiful converted church. It is a spectacular building with so much character. It offers everything from history to a hot tub and zip... I guarantee you that when you walk through the door you will look up into the extraordinary room you're standing in and say "Oh my God..." I've just spent four nights at St Curig's with my partner and my five year old. We hadn't intended to stay there but came across it while in search of a plan 'B' after... More
