I've stayed at this hotel at least 20 times and always tell myself it's the last. At this point it's convenient and close to my office. The phones haven't worked for three years, some of the rooms reek like an ashtray, and the amenities are lackluster. This is a very nice hotel. I liked the location, the staff was friendly and the room comfortable. I came to this hotel because I had already stayed at a Doubletree Hotel in Atlanta and liked it a lot. I would certainly recommend it. We didn't have a single problem. more

I got an amazing deal on price line negotiator - 45 bucks! So it's hard to complain. The best deals I could find online other than that were about 85 bucks. However, this hotel is worth paying that. It's not your typical Doubletree. This hotel has great potential, its in a nice quaint neighborhood. If you get a excellent priceline rate, than great but please do not pay full price. It needs serious renovation and repair. They are doing a little renovation currently but needs much more. The whole hotel is worn and my room wasn't the cleanest... more

stayed here july 29th, very overrated- the front window was shattered and not replaced,carpet in room was filthy,toilet wouldnt flush, tv set was very dated,overall way to much money for quality of hotel more

This Doubletree is in a nice area in east Memphis surrounded by nice shopping and restaurants. You can tell by the exterior design that this hotel has been around for quite some time.
