Extended Stay on Poplar in Memphis is a clean, conveniently located hotel. However, the beds are subpar--hard, thin mattresses lacking in any kind of pillow-top or even much of a mattress pad. Also should have carpet replaced, as well as minor details like faucets, shower heads, etc. (my shower head was all leaky and not very powerful--things that should be better maintained). Spacious rooms, but they need better beds and minor updates. more
