It really does feel like you're perched on the very edge of the world at knockinaam- it's not surprising that this is where Michael Palin wrote from pole to pole. when a warm and peaceful atmosphere is combined with sheer isolation, it makes the whole hotel experience greater than the sum of its component parts. would love to come back... Winter makes the breaking sea in front of the hotel even more awesome. Very secluded location and well off the beaten track, Knockinaam must surely benefit from word of mouth recommendations. Stayed for a couple of days in September. Lovely setting, great service and excellent coastal walks. The food in the restaurant was very good indeed with plenty of reasonably priced wines to accompany. Certainly worthy of return visit. More
