I took my walking boots off at the front door but then realised that this wasn't necessary as my boots appeared to be cleaner than the carpets in the hotel (including the one on our room). Had to ring the bell three times to check in. This could've been down to the loud rock n roll music at the front... More

Stayed here as part of West Highland Way walk, and it met basic requirements of a warm room, a hot shower (no toiletries provided) and a single bed that was comfy enough. However, I couldn't work out how to get the TV to work, and I had to put my kettle on the floor to boil near a power outlet.... More

Really, really, really run-down rooms. No amount of cleaning would make a difference here- stained, torn up carpet, beat up bathroom and furniture. Staff was friendly and helpful- but accommodations were really poor. Overall, an unpleasant experience. More

Tired, run down, dirty rooms, broken fixtures and fittings. Book one of the B&B's in Tyndrum or accommodation in the nearby camping / caravan / lodge sites and make it worth your money.
