After reading some of the reviews left by other visitors I thought I'd done the wrong thing by booking a 5 day holiday with Lochs and Glens to The Inversnaid. How wrong I was. Myself and my husband enjoyed ourselves so much, the staff and Jackie the manageress were so helpful. The food was very good considering there was about... more

Just returned after a New Year stay travelling with Lochs and Glens. What a great time we had!!! The staff, the entertainment and the setting were brilliant. Very well organised and great value for money. Will certainly be recommending to all our friends. The only downfall was the food although that would not put us off. We didn't starve!!!! more

My third visit to a Lochs and Glens Hotel, all of which have been fantastic. The Inversnaid is amazing in a stunning location, remote and beautiful, with the added attraction of the ferry trips across the Loch. This hotel is well run, with the staff happy to do everthing they can to make your stay perfect. The Managers Jackie and... more

Arrived just after dark to the usual warm welcome on 22nd Oct.Dinner and entertainment followed.A great evening with friends that had travelled with us from Croydon. After breakfast,a leasurely drive to Aberfoyle,16 miles from the hotel, the nearest town, for an hour or so,visiting the Scottish Woolen Mill, and the display of Birds of Prey outside. Then over the Dukes Pass to the Loch... more

Its special . not the average venue. Although the hotel is quite isolated geographically it is easy enough to get to places by using the hotel`s own ferry. This also adds to the uniqueness of the place. more

This hotel is situated right on the Loch Lomond shore line. It is fairly isolated on the East side of the loch and other than a water borne arrival (By launch from Talbert or hotel launch) is approached by car, on a very narrow road single track with passing places, from Aberfoyle (14miles). The hotel is owned by 'Lochs and... more

My wife & I have just spent a fantastic short break at this hotel, courtesy of Lochs & Glens. Although the 14 hour trip up north was daunting, coach driver Alan added humour and patter to make the journey an enjoyable one. Sadly we had no view from our hotel room (except for the kitchen!) but the location of the... more

first ever trip to scotland and not disappointed at all. Such tremendous value how do you do it? Thankyou Bob and Kathy for being such lovely reps on our coach from the south. The Hotel was charming and very homely. Food delicious, plentiful and with a little bit of traditional food on the menu made it just that bit special. We... more

Pushing up the West Highland Way from Balmaha, after a long (long!) day we eventually broke out of the 'jungle' and found this welcome remnant of civilisation at Inversnaid. The hotel seems to have had a long history with Victorian / Edwardian photos up on the walls of when the gentry would come for a holiday on the edge of... more
