We booked this place last minute and had a realy nice stay. Its not 5 star and we never expected it to be, but it ticked every box. Its was clean, comfortable and had a great location. The breakfast was lovely too.

We stayed three nights at the Anchorage in Balloch as we were attending a wedding. We got what we paid for - no complaints whatsoever. It is a nice quaint place and we were looked after very well. Excellent breakfasts and managementg was of great assistance with our travel plans - whatever. Would stay again and recommend.to anyone.

Have just arrived home after spending an overnight stay in the Anchorage. I had pre-booked my room a few days previous. I can say that my experience of the bed and breakfast was exceptional. The wife booked us away for a suprise romantic weekend....when we arrived at the anchorage we got the suprise but not the romance. Although very friendly my wife and i both smelled alcohol from the man who greeted us. The location of the b&b is completely missleading as the pictures suggest it is near the shores of loch lomond...its not!!... More
