First impressions are excellent: a stunning building in a breathtakingly secluded location by a loch; the drawing room / lounge is also very elegant with comfortable sofas and great views over the loch. We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our Honeymoon on the West coast of Scotland. Our room (Kilchurn) was lovely with 4 poster, very spacious and beautifully furnished. The hotel is stunning. The food was absolutely delicious. The location amazing and the staff very professional and helpful. The hotel was spotless and the rooms freshened up twice a day. However we had gone to the hotel for two days of peace and quiet and pampering. Our stay was marred by the odd and jarring behaviour of the ownership.... more
