A meal for two adults and two children, 2 beers, one glass of wine, one g&t and two soft drinks cost over £75. Whist the service, etc was fine, the food was no better than average. We didn't think this was terribly good value. More

This has a lovely restaurant and pub - have been here several times and always get a suberbly friendly reception and hearty food which is value for money. The pub has a superb selection of whisky and cairngorm ales and a roaring log fire. This is a all year round jewel after a day of action in the breathtaking surroundings. More

As we did'nt stay at the hotel i can only comment on the food. The staff were friendly and the hotel bar/dining area where clean. The food was'nt great, the gravy was very salty and the chicken was very dry. Also the prices at the bar for drinks was very steep. We wont be rushing back for another meal. More

Stayed in one of the really excellent log cabins, which was fantastic - spotless and all the mod cons. We made a last minute booking and the owners responded v quickly and were very accommodating. It's dog friendly too so we could bring our Oscar (chocolate lab) too. I would defo return, for a longer break. More
